Liam Abramson - Founder/CEO
Liam Abramson studied music (cello) at the Royal College of Music and business at the University of Buckingham. After 10 years as a lecturer in Business for the Performing Arts at the Royal Academy of Music, London and following a hectic life as a corporate consultant, Liam established HighgateGlobal in 2005 to use his experience and passion in the arts and business worlds to help nonprofit organizations develop for the future. Liam is very much in demand as a speaker having presented workshops at Oberlin University, University of Colorado, Boulder and Harvard University. He has also presented workshops at many conferences including Chamber Music America, NETMCDO and the Working Musician Conference in London, UK. Liam has published (in print) over 100 articles on the performing arts business and is currently writing a book on business for the classical musician. Liam lives in Boston, MA with his wife, baby daughter and cat.
Erin Becker - Research Assistant
Erin provides support in the research phase of the strategic plan, as well as promoting HighgateGlobal workshops and developing various business services of the organization. In addition to her work at HighgateGlobal, Erin is a volunteer Grants Program Assistant at the Cambridge Arts Council; a volunteer gallery attendant at the Mills Gallery at the Boston Center for the Arts; and is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Member Relations Committee at the Cambridge Art Association. Erin has a BA in Art History from Boston University, and lives in Cambridge.
Christine Cassilini - Associate Grant Writer
Christine Casilini is a grant writer and development consultant associate for HighgateGlobal, based in Boston, MA. Christine gained her Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Rhetoric from SUNY Binghamton and is a member of Women in Development of Greater Boston, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Massachusetts Chapter and the Boston Young Non-Profit Professionals Network. Christine leverages her extensive journalistic experience to plan and execute innovative marketing and publicity campaigns, including those utilizing social networks and emergent media outlets. Christine’s work with HighgateGlobal includes heading up the Grant Writing practice and providing detailed support during the strategic planning process including research, writing and stakeholder interviews.
